Job Title: Mushroom Harvesting Labourer

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Mushroom Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Delfresh Mushroom Farm Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for hand harvesting vegetables, picking row and orchard crops, and loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.

Work Environment: The work site environment is characterized by other miscellaneous crop farming, working at heights, wet/damp conditions, odours, and dusty conditions. The work setting is in a rural area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hand harvesting vegetables
  • Pick row and orchard crops
  • Clean work area
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Overtime required

Physical Demands: The successful candidate must be physically demanding and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The work involves standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

Working Conditions: The work site environment is characterized by other miscellaneous crop farming, working at heights, wet/damp conditions, odours, and dusty conditions.

Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week
