We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Specialist to join our team at Equitable Life of Canada. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our enterprise database server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, implementation, and management of the company's enterprise database server infrastructure
  • Deliver infrastructure and business systems projects
  • Design and manage database server infrastructure services to ensure effective uptime and meet 24x7 business systems infrastructure requirements
  • Evaluate and research relevant trends and issues and apply them to the Company
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT
  • 5-6 years of experience in database administration/analyst roles
  • Strong knowledge and experience designing and managing enterprise Microsoft SQL database server environments
  • Expert knowledge and experience in database performance tuning, debugging, profiling, and analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
