Job Summary

LPH Restaurants Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Food Service Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure optimal stock levels.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong time management and organizational skills.
    • Stand for extended periods, with a physically demanding role that requires stamina and endurance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
