About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at the Great Canadian Dollar Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the display and restocking of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and engage with them to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Merchandise Management: Assist with the display and restocking of merchandise, ensuring that shelves are fully stocked and facing is maintained.
  • Cash Handling: Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required.
