We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Lawrence Meat Production Plant. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems and electrical controls.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, including welding and fabrication.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and hoisting equipment, to move and position machinery and equipment.
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation and repair.
- Supervise and train other workers as needed.
- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment.
