Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Lead and motivate a team of staff members to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our customer's needs.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Maintain Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and safety, and that our restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Monitor and manage inventory levels, and ensure that all supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.

Manage Cash Handling and Sales

Count and reconcile cash and credit card sales, and ensure that all sales are accurately recorded and reported.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience

Previous experience in a food service or retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.

Certifications

Food safety certification and any other certifications required by law or regulation.

Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
