Job Title: Child Care Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team at Oki Cleaning Company Incorporated. As a Child Care Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a live-in arrangement.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and supervision to our children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Take the children to and from school and to appointments as needed.
  • Engage in activities such as games, outings, and homework help to promote the children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Perform a child welfare check, criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and vulnerable sector check as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the parents to ensure the children's needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Organized and patient with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking environment with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the home is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week with a permanent employment opportunity.
