We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at IWK Health. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze patient data during treatments to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Operate advanced ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images
  • Monitor examinations to evaluate image quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed
  • Train and mentor students or junior medical sonographers
  • Prepare detailed examination reports for physicians
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on ultrasound equipment
Area of Specialization

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at IWK Health, you will have the opportunity to specialize in obstetrical and gynecological sonography, pediatric echocardiography, and pediatric neurosonology.
