Job Title: Household Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team at Wurfel Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, values and ethics, honesty, time management.
Work Information:
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
