Job Title: Maintenance Millwright - Industrial Machinery Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at Imasco Minerals Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Construct foundations for machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- Install and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Commission systems and components
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Forklift Operator Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Welding techniques: Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW)
- Equipment and machinery experience: Automated and robotic systems, conveyor, fans and blowers, gas and air dryers, monorails, pneumatic systems, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift
