">About the Role
">We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to manage and oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for our client's corporate entities. The successful candidate will have +4 years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of initiating and implementing process improvement initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems such as Sage AccPac or Concur are essential.
">Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and record journal entries, maintaining the general ledger for all corporate entities.">
- Conduct quarterly reconciliations and analyses of all accruals and balances.">
- Research, recommend, and implement updates in accordance with relevant Canadian GAAP.">
- Support the preparation and oversight of timely and accurate invoice payments and collections.">
- Perform cash flow analyses, forecasting, and budgeting for the Corporate group.">
- Manage bank wiring instructions, cash deposits, and bank statement reconciliations.">
- Generate timely quarterly and annual financial statements, including necessary note disclosures, per Canadian GAAP.">
- Assist with the annual audit of Corporate financial statements as needed.">
- Help prepare working papers for compliance reporting (e.g., GST/HST, Income Tax, FATCA, CRS, etc.).">
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST/HST returns.">
- Aid in developing annual budgets and conducting quarterly variance analyses.">
- Assist in creating and presenting ad hoc and routine reports for the department and management.">
- Maintain vendor records and address vendor-related issues.">
- Prepare and review invoices and expense allocations for accuracy.">
- Oversee and process intercompany reimbursements.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- +4 years of Accounting experience.">
- An undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; Professional Designation (CPA) preferred.">
- Knowledge of accounting principles and reporting under Canadian GAAP or IFRS.">
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with a high level of aptitude for a wide range of computer applications.">
- Experience in managing accounting and reporting functions with daily and monthly deliverables.">
- Experience in managing and reviewing deliverables for financial reporting.">
- Proven track record of initiating and implementing process improvement initiatives.">
- Working knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. Sage AccPac, Concur) would be an asset.">
- Working knowledge of various tax compliance requirements would be an asset.">
What We Offer
">This is a highly competitive opportunity that offers a salary of CAD $90,000 - CAD $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage.
