To succeed in this role, you will require a University Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related field of study. A Professional Risk Management Certificate (CRM, CRMP, or other) is an asset. You should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in risk controls and assessments, root cause analysis, conducting workshops and internal training sessions, and working with Ontario Public Sector risk framework.
As a successful candidate, you will possess strong analytical and research skills to identify and assess risks from various sources of data, organizational and time management skills, including balancing multiple priorities and tasks while meeting strict deadlines. You should demonstrate leadership ability and initiative, excellent oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
