We are seeking an Associate Physician to join our team at the Red Fish Healing Centre for Mental Health & Addiction and/or the Heartwood Centre for Women. The successful candidate will work in a structured team-based specialty care setting to increase capacity and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for patients and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver patient care and manage day-to-day care.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A medical degree from a recognized institution and completion of postgraduate training.
- Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and eligibility for registration in the Associate Physician class.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A commitment to upholding the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act and Truth & Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action.
