About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Culinary Team Member to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and functions, including menu planning and food preparation.
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs, and requisition supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, and train staff in food preparation and handling.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
