About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Altacruz General Construction and Cleaning Ltd. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up scaffolding and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in assembling tower cranes on site.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, and clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools, and assist in repairing damaged or broken equipment.
  • Site Safety: Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
