New Style Painting & Renovation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Painter - Surface Preparation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing surfaces for painting, including drywall taping and patching. The role involves working in various locations, preparing surfaces, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint and wallpaper. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colours. The position requires a high level of physical fitness, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ideal candidate will have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field and be a team player with flexibility, initiative, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including drywall taping and patching
  • Repair cracks and holes in surfaces
  • Apply paint and wallpaper to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • High level of physical fitness, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Team player with flexibility, initiative, and reliability

Work Environment:

  • Various locations
