Job Summary:

The Pediatrician will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. This includes conducting thorough physical examinations, reviewing patient records, and ordering diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, including taking medical histories and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests and procedures, such as lab work and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, taking into account potential side effects and immunization needs.
  • Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention, as well as provide health education and counseling.
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary, and refer patients to specialists when needed.
  • Document patient visits and medical history in electronic health records.
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree (MD, DO) with a minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Residency training.
  • At least two (2) years' experience in public health.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Required certifications: CA Medical License, DEA Certificate, BSL certification.
