Key Responsibilities

  • Assist plumbers with reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
