Physiotherapist II Specialist, Children's Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II Specialist to join our team at BC Children's and Women's Hospital & Health Centre in Vancouver, BC.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for promoting physical function, fitness, and motor performance to contribute to the overall cognitive, perceptual, social, and emotional well-being of clients/patients within the context of a client- and family-centered care model. In accordance with established physiotherapy standards of professional practice, the Physiotherapist II Specialist will provide therapeutic, clinical, diagnostic, and preventative services to clients, families, and the community.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy assessments using advanced skill, knowledge, and clinical reasoning.
- Apply advanced clinical knowledge and reasoning to develop and implement physiotherapy treatment programs for clients/patients.
- Document information including relevant clinical data, assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Maintain communication with clients/patients and families/caregivers to foster optimal progress.
- Develop and participate in client/patient and family education, including establishing treatment/care programs.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary groups and/or teams by providing consultation, clinical advice, input, and suggestions related to client/patient management.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Sciences and/or licensure with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia. Two years of recent related experience, including one year working with the designated patient population, is also required. Plus, 50 hours of postgraduate coursework/training related to additional procedures, techniques, or job functions is necessary.

Estimated Salary Range: $93,359 - $122,355 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As per rotation; 0800-1600.
