Kirkor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Architectural Technologist with at least 3 years of experience. This is a full-time, in-studio position with a salary range of $50-60k per annum, including 2 weeks' paid vacation, a comprehensive benefits package, and an optional RRSP program.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen interest in learning about complex residential and mixed-use projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing black line drawings for marketing purposes
  • Drawing construction details and dimensioning floor plans
  • Experience with building envelope detailing
  • Preparing construction documents for building permits and tender documents
  • Preparing and revising site instruction documents and sketches
  • Coordinating and reviewing architectural and consultant drawings
  • Thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing
  • Solid knowledge of the Building Code
  • Excellent working drawings and Revit skills

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of a recognized Architectural Technology diploma program with 3-5 years of experience
  • High level of skill with REVIT required
  • Working knowledge and experience with the Building Code
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), as well as Zoom
