This position is eligible for a signing bonus and moving allowance.
You will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day pharmacy operations, including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
- Clinical responsibilities, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community partners.
- Inventory management.
- Team member scheduling, training, and management.
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and patient needs.
- Developing and implementing business growth strategies and plans.
- Enforcing policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
- Completing all licensee tasks as dictated by the College of Pharmacy in your province.
- Following and enforcing Save-On-Foods' standard operating procedures.
- Communicating with your Regional Pharmacy Manager to optimize efficiencies and workflow.
You have:
- A Canadian Pharmacist license and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
- Pharmacy management experience or a minimum of 2 years as a Pharmacist.
- Fluency with opioid agonist treatment compliance procedures.
- Your injection certification.
