Job Title: Mother's Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and caring Mother's Assistant to join our team at Jean-Luc Sigouin. As a Mother's Assistant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our clients' children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Care for pets
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the parents' methods
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Criminal record check
  • Reference required

Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a non-smoking environment and will be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
