About the Job
In this role, you will work closely with our technical teams to develop and implement AI/digitalization solutions that optimize exploration and production activities. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and execution of data automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI solutions to optimize exploration and production activities
- Design and deploy machine learning models to analyze geological data and predict equipment failure
- Conduct data mining and big data analysis to identify trends and insights that can lead to cost reductions and improved safety measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and digital transformation
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university. A Master's or Ph.D. is highly desirable. Minimum five years of experience in data automation and digitalization within the oil and gas industry is required.
