About the Job:
The Mid-Market Growth Business team at EDC is seeking a skilled professional to join its ranks as a Financial Modeling Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research, assisting with transaction due diligence, building complex financial models, and supporting value creation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Due diligence: Support senior team members with specific elements of diligence and investment proposals by conducting research and analysis of highly complex and/or high-risk transactions.
- Financial Models: Build customized excel financial models for valuation, risk assessment, and returns profiling purposes.
- Transaction Teamwork: Work collaboratively within a team of venture capital specialists and the broader MMGB Customer Delivery Teams.
Requirements:
- Recently completed an Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience in venture capital, private equity, or related fields.
- Demonstrated outstanding financial modeling skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually.
