Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Associate to join our Capital Management team at BMO. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the execution of various capital management activities, including the production of quarterly LICAT filings and the implementation of LICAT guideline changes and capital optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of quarterly LICAT filings
  • Provide support in the implementation of LICAT guideline changes and various capital optimization initiatives
  • Conduct analysis and assessment on results
  • Implement enhancements to the capital management process
  • Update and create documentation and procedures for processes as appropriate, as well as prepare change management documentation
Requirements
  • Completion of a University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a similar discipline
  • Completion of at least 4 SOA or equivalent actuarial exams and actively pursuing fellowship
  • Minimum of 2+ year's experience
  • Working understanding of Corporate Actuarial and/or Pricing analysis methodology & reporting
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Life Insurance products is an asset
  • Knowledge of Moody's Analytics AXIS is an asset

Compensation

The salary for this position is $111,700.00 per year, paid on a salaried basis. BMO's total compensation package includes performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
