Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance, and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.

  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
