About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Rate Me Contractors Ltd. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Crane Operations: Clean and lubricate cranes, and assist in assembling and dismantling tower cranes on site.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Asphalt and Concrete Work: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and pave and rake asphalt.
  • Demolition and Salvage: Assist in demolishing buildings and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
