About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer II to contribute to the support and deployment of Ansys EDA products across top semiconductor companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in one or more Ansys products, working independently to drive product development and deployment.
  • Provide customer support, answering questions on tool functionality and troubleshooting product defects.
  • Collaborate with software developers, architects, and product specialists to drive product development and deployment.
  • Develop clear and concise descriptions of product enhancement requests.
  • Work behind the scenes, taking direction from a mentor to assist with evaluations, benchmarks, or demos.
  • Develop strong relationships with team members, fostering a culture of trust and respect.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 1 year of experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good programming skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of VLSI design, Physical Design, and CMOS fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion for learning and deploying new technologies.
  • 0-2 years of prior experience in ASIC Physical design, Power-Integrity/Signal-Integrity/Reliability Closure, or Custom circuit design and simulation.
