Job Summary

MYT Trucking Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Ensure efficient loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain vehicle safety.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Safely handle and transport dangerous goods, adhering to regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with MYT Trucking Ltd, you will work on the road, with a permanent work term and a 40-50 hour workweek. English is the primary language used in the workplace.
