About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter - Water Heater Specialist to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining water heaters and other HVAC equipment in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain water heaters and other HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with water heaters and other HVAC equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve installation and maintenance goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Must have Domestic Gas Fitter B certificate.
  • Must have a Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Diagnostic and HVAC maintenance skills for residential equipment.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver water heaters with the assistance of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
