We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Timberjack Building Supplies Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport goods and materials to various locations. This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform regular inspections to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Transportation: Load and unload goods, and transport them to various locations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, driver logs, and other relevant documents.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to the outdoors. The physical demands of this role include sitting, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
