We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker in East Caithness.

Job Summary

As a Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care to patients in their own homes, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to the local community.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, working 22.75 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000 pro-rata, depending on experience. You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain their independence, while also contributing to the development of a positive and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to patients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the evaluation of patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in consultation with patients and their families/carers
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A driving license and access to your own vehicle for work purposesThe ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekendsAn SVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification (full training provided)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
