Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a housekeeper at Elardo Therapy and Counselling Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to ensure a smooth and dust-free atmosphere.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a tidy and comfortable space.
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a clean and fresh living space for guests.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Stock the linen closet to ensure a continuous supply of linens.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a healthy environment.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized space.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens to extend their lifespan and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a comfortable and clean living space.
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and household items.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
