You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care. This includes performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, such as scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening. You will also serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients. Additionally, you will establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on their expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behavior.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A DENTAL HYGIENE DIPLOMA OR HYGIENE DEGREE PROGRAM
- REGISTERED AS A DENTAL HYGIENIST AND IN GOOD STANDING WITH PROVINCIAL LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
- VALID CPR CERTIFICATION
- BECOME LEGALLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA
This full-time position requires working Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday shifts available. The schedule is as follows:
- Mondays: 8:30 am to 6:30 pm
- Tuesdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Wednesdays: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Thursdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Fridays: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
