Bakery Specialist

We are a leading bakery and event planning company seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Bakery Specialist will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes. This is a key role in our bakery and requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, according to recipes and special customer orders.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Operate machinery and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods and ensure that the bakery is presented in a clean and attractive manner.
- Prepare special orders and ensure that they are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
The Bakery Specialist will work in a fast-paced bakery environment with a team of experienced bakers and pastry chefs. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
