At CHAWLAS INDIAN BISTRO AND PARTY HALL, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our business. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for cost savings and process improvement
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Experience with MS Excel and other accounting software
