Role Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time School Bus Monitor in Tillsonburg to join our team at Voyago.

This role involves supervising students onboard, ensuring their safety during transportation to and from school. You will be responsible for monitoring the onboarding and exiting of students on the bus.

This position is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working with children and value community service.

You will adhere to scheduling based on bus route needs and work collaboratively with the bus driver to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for students.

Requirements
  • Safety Focus: You must prioritize student safety above all else.
  • Age Requirement: You must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Criminal Record Check: You must be able to obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.
  • Communication Skills: You must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and colleagues.
  • Availability: You must be available to work required shifts: Monday - Friday between 7am - 9am and 2pm - 4pm (approximate start and end times may vary).
  • Experience: Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is highly valued but not necessary.
  • Location: You must reside in Woodstock.
