We are seeking an experienced Compliance Advisory Professional to join our team in Canada. As a key member of the Corporate Compliance Department, you will work closely with other teams to manage and execute the CRM Program, while also providing compliance advisory and operational support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Corporate Compliance operations, including developing annual plans, project management, and change management. They will also oversee compliance inventory management, risk assessments, program reporting, policy and procedure management, issues management, and training.
This role requires the ability to act as a regulatory specialist and compliance advisor, with a strong understanding of Canadian regulations such as the Bank Act, OSFI Guidelines, and Privacy Act. The incumbent will monitor regulatory developments, research and analyze legal and regulatory topics to assist with Branch responses to regulatory changes, and develop strategies to respond to evolving regulatory expectations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services compliance
- Bachelor's degree (required), or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized Canadian law school (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
