Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Cobourg, ON K9A4K5, CAN

Job Summary:

Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer relations and maintain a positive attitude
  • Manage and maintain accounts and relationships
  • Visit job sites and offices to develop positive relationships and rapport with internal teams and clientele
  • Identify and follow-up with prospects to acquire new customers
  • Communicate orders to branches/stores and follow-up on orders
  • Deliver equipment to customers when necessary and deliver promotional material
  • Ability to cater to customer schedules, after-hour events, and emergencies, as well as on-call schedules
  • Quote new equipment, building products, and rental equipment
Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a Canadian Nuclear Clearance certificate
  • Clear criminal background check required
  • Previous experience in a related field and knowledge of construction equipment and building products
  • Experience in Microsoft applications, specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Attention to detail and effective paperwork organization
  • A self-starter with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills
  • Good communication and people skills, and the desire to work effectively within a team environment
Additional Qualifications:
  • Proficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset
  • Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset
