Agricultural Laborer

At Adh Mor - Big Luck Ranch, we are seeking a skilled Farm Worker to join our team.
About the Role:
- This is a seasonal position with a variable schedule and working hours ranging from 35-50 hours per week.
- The ideal candidate will have no degree requirements but a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- The work environment is primarily outdoors with occasional work at heights, in hot temperatures, and exposure to noisy environments, odors, and wet conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and caring for animals, including marking livestock for ownership and monitoring the calving process.
- Monitoring animal health, performing grooming activities, and tracking feed inventory.
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, farm trucks, and other specialized equipment.
- Training horses and detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
- Setting and monitoring water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with feeding and watering systems, fertilizer applicators, sprayers or dusters, and other specialized farm equipment.
- Familiarity with automated systems, including bulk grain or feed handling and manure handling and storage.
- Specialization in cattle breeding and thoroughbred horses.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding work requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Overtime may be required, and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
