Product Manager

Empire Life is seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our Group Product & Marketing team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Group Retirement Savings business, including new products, product features, delivery, processes, performance, pricing, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct management of all facets of the group retirement savings business
- Launch new investment products and manage product development pipeline
- Lead cross-functional work teams as necessary
- Develop and present product proposals and cost-benefit business cases to Senior Management
- Define and refine high-level requirements and liaise with digital, design, and IT teams
- Customer experience is paramount; you will have an in-depth understanding of key audience needs
- Research, analyze, and understand the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and market price competitiveness
- Support sales and market development opportunities, including sales strategies, presentations, marketing materials, and pitch decks
- 5+ years of work experience in a product management/development capacity in the financial services industry
- Group Retirement Savings, capital markets, investment management, and financial products landscape knowledge
- Knowledge of investment product implementation processes
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, able to conduct profitability analysis, pricing recommendations, and ongoing business KPIs/metrics
- Customer-centric orientation and understanding of marketing, customer needs assessment, and targeting
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to prepare product marketing material, presentations, business cases, and strategic plans
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable wearing multiple hats and rolling up sleeves to do detailed work
