About the Role

Cable Leafs Consultancy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Implementation team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex telecommunications and IT infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, test, and maintain Data Centers, Head Ends, CO, Hub, and Cell site telecommunications equipment and power systems.
  • Plan, install, test, commission, and remove BDFB's, DC cabling, DC fuse panel, AC & DC circuit-breaker, liquid cell batteries, UPS, and power rectifiers.
  • Understand and implement DC power plants, rectifiers, and battery strings, as well as basic AC electrical principles.
  • Install racks, cabinets, and cabling of equipment, run, terminate, and test cables, both copper and fiber.
  • Install telecom equipment like Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia, Ericsson, Fujitsu, Ciena, etc., and transport test Fiber channel, RFC, and BERT.
  • Interface with the NOC, Field Operations team, and Engineering groups to resolve network faults while respecting live traffic on the network.
  • Schedule day-to-day activities, prepare closing documentation for customers, and work with team lead and PMs to keep projects up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in telecommunications, preferably in COE Installation, Fiber Optic Splicing, or Structured Cabling.
  • Knowledge of ancillary equipment used in telecom installations, including cables, connectors, steelwork, and consumables.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience working with hand tools, power tools, specialty tools (fiber splicers, Exfo, Viavi test gear).
  • Flexible and adaptable, with ability to multi-task and accommodate various assignments at different locations.
  • Able and willing to travel as required for varying periods, occasionally with short notice.
  • Ability to interpret telecommunication Blueprints, schematics, and specifications, and install equipment according to customer design.
  • DAS and security systems installation experience is a plus.
