What You Can Expect to Do Here
  • Business Development
    • Develop, maintain, and implement client relationships, ensuring clients consistently feel valued and their needs are being met.
    • Build effective networks and working relationships with stakeholders and clients.
    • Identify and respond to business opportunities and meet with potential clients regarding our services.
  • Project Management
    • Manage clients and projects, assisting and giving staff the freedom and confidence to develop sustainable and exciting solutions for their clients.
    • Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction by ensuring that project outputs meet client expectations and ensure clients are fully consulted and apprised of progress, issues, and related solutions at key project stages.
    • Implement WSP project management methodology to ensure projects result in a successful conclusion for both the client and the company.
  • Engineering
    • Provide technical advisory services to clients for municipal engineering projects.
    • Prepare analyses, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, presentations, and reports.
    • Contract administration and field reviews for projects under construction.
What You'll Bring to WSP
  • An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or eligibility for registration within the Provincial Engineering Board.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an engineering professional completing studies, design, tender document preparation, and contract administration on a broad range of engineering projects, ideally in the Municipal/Infrastructure sector.
  • Experience managing delivery of engineering services on projects, including leading consultant teams, scope, budget, and schedule management, and client liaison, ideally in the Municipal/Infrastructure sector.
  • Experience in construction contract administration and previous success in customer service, client management, business development, and proposal writing.
  • Excellent ability to build relationships and engage with several stakeholders, such as clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
