Dean, School of Students

Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP) is seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation and community spirit in our Academic Division. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for fiscal planning and accountability within your area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of NWP's strategic plan and vision, working closely with the Provost and Vice-President Academic.
  • Lead strategic planning across the Office of the Dean of Students, overseeing the organization and delivery of student services.
  • Collaborate with the Provost and Vice-President Academic to contribute to NWP's policy development and overall planning and direction.
  • Provide leadership to specified committees, projects, and initiatives, conducting performance evaluations for staff and supervising Associate Deans.
  • Ensure effective communication, collaboration, and liaison with internal and external parties, acting as a contact person for consultation with regulatory and professional associations.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets for student services, aligning with NWP's strategic directions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position or academic appointments.
  • Strong project management skills and a Certificate in Change Management, Leadership Training, or CAQC knowledge would be considered an asset.
