Job Title: Clinical Dietitian, Diabetes and Endocrine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian, Diabetes and Endocrine Specialist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nutrition care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and support to patients and families on nutrition and lifestyle management.
  • Monitor and adjust nutrition care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in diabetes and endocrine nutrition to provide evidence-based care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an academic program in dietetics approved by the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
  • Current and active Board certified Canadian Diabetes Educator (CDE).
  • Three (3) years recent, related clinical experience in pediatric nutrition and feeding practices/behaviours in an acute care setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Full registration in the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
