About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Childcare Assistant at Zida Academy. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Provide excellent care and supervision to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment.
