Job Title: Business Process Automation Specialist

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Automation Specialist to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As a key member of our In-Service Support team, you will be responsible for implementing, integrating, and troubleshooting Business Process Automation (BPA) flows/processes, including web service invocations, embedded scripts, and user interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and integrate BPA flows/processes, ensuring seamless automation of business processes
  • Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to define and refine business processes prior to implementation
  • Lead and oversee the work of a small team of BPA specialists, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Champion digital transformation and automation within In-Service Support projects, driving innovation and process improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent education with relevant experience
  • 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of leading a software development or software test team
  • Experience with web services, JavaScript, and GUI UX design
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
