About the Role

As a Cashier Sales Associate at ESSO, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while processing transactions and managing store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently
  • Process payments through various methods including cash, credit, and debit cards
  • Scan items and maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Take ownership of daily/shift sales reconciliations and manage petty cash
  • Engage in suggestive selling to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Maintain store appearance by restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area
  • Provide top-notch customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
  • Monitor store entrances and exits, ensuring accurate proof of payment when necessary
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience is an asset but not required
What We Offer
  • An estimated salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience
  • A stable work environment with 35 hours of work per week
