Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough structural inspections for industrial projects to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Design and develop innovative solutions for equipment foundations and support structures, utilizing advanced technical skills in steel and concrete design.
  • Make informed technical decisions with limited information, leveraging your expertise and experience to drive project success.
  • Estimate and prepare engineering proposals, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for clients.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality.
  • Approve and stamp project designs and reports, providing peer review and guidance to junior engineers as needed.
  • Represent the company and the community in presentations and meetings, showcasing your expertise and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering, with a strong background in structural and foundation engineering.
  • Registered P.Eng. in the province of Alberta, British Columbia, or Saskatchewan.
  • Advanced technical skills in steel and concrete design, with field experience and a working knowledge of Canadian codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP 2000 or similar software.
