Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Olive & Anchor Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Administrative Tasks

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Work Schedules

Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment is required.

Personal Qualities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Language

Fluent English language skills are required.
